Davie Elie Masinah, professionally known as Sir Spark, is a talented Malawian Reggae/Dancehall artist known for his energetic style, powerful lyrics, and deep passion for music that uplifts and represents the voice of the people. Born and raised in Malawi, Sir Spark began his musical journey in 2016, influenced and encouraged by his secondary school classmates. His sound and direction were inspired by local musical icons Blasto and Trumel, who helped shape his passion for Reggae and Dancehall into a distinct musical identity. Sir Spark is the founder of Black People Music, a Reggae/Dancehall group based in Lilongwe, which serves as a creative hub for like-minded artists who aim to bring positive change and real messages through music. Beyond the stage and studio, Sir Spark is also a visionary entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Born Great, a growing online clothing brand that reflects his bold identity and encourages the youth to embrace their greatness. With a strong presence in Malawi’s music scene, Sir Spark continues to rise as a key figure in modern African Reggae and Dancehall — driven by originality, culture, and purpose.
