FDH Bank lifts suspension on sports sponsorship

The uncertainty surrounding FDH Bank plc sports sponsorship has been cleared after the bank lifted its temporary suspension Monday, ending days of speculation and unrest.

FDH Bank suspended its sponsorship, amounting to K7.5 billion catering for various sport codes, following the impasse involving the Football Association of Malawi (Fam) and Super League of Malawi (Sulom) over the eligibility of Kamuzu Stadium in hosting the premiership’s launch match.
